Asset Management / Quinquennial Surveys

The David Rackham Partnership work with a range of clients, not only for the delivery of projects, but also the ongoing management and planning of property-based assets. Our knowledge of the built environment enables us to pro-actively support our clients in the establishment of accurate asset management plans and budgets for both the short and long-term.

Whether our clients own large portfolios or individual properties, we will undertake detailed condition surveys enabling us to generate bespoke asset management plans that ensure our client’s properties are always maintained to ensure optimal building performance.

In pro-actively managing assets, we are able to ensure that client’s properties are maintained correctly; minimising unexpected costs and reducing inherent levels of risk.

This approach is also delivered within the undertaking of quinquennial inspections; in particular for members of The Almshouse Association. Quinquennial inspections involve a thorough survey of all aspects of a building’s fabric and are intended to identify problems which have developed since the last time it was inspected and to establish priorities for repair to ensure the preservation of the fabric. Quinquennial inspections are generally frequent enough to catch problems before significant damage occurs. As approved members of the Association’s panel of consultants, The David Rackham Partnership is one of only a number of consultants licensed to undertake such inspections for almshouses throughout the UK.
